Our Extreme WeatherPlus™ Add-ons are an upgrade to our standard cases, which we've sold for 20+ years. While we still offer our full selection of styles and sizes without the enhancements below, some locations require these upgrades to accommodate their local weather conditions best. Below are the upgrades we include;
- Drip-Edge Roof
The thin aluminum roof provided has a slight bend at the end to help mitigate water from entering any possible exposure through the door or hinges when closed. The roof provided includes high-bond adhesive tape for installation on the top of the metal cabinet. When wall-mounting and installing the Extreme WeatherPlus™ case, you can choose to add the protective roof or leave it off. You can install it later or remove it after initial installation. - Rubber Gaskets
One enhancement is installing rubber gaskets along the inside perimeter of the door cavity. Though not waterproof or 100% water-tight, it significantly reduces the risk of water entering the case. - Side Vents
Placed on both sides of the case are Fin Style Vents. This allows the upper portion of the case to release any condensation buildup and enables airflow to help ensure clear viewing of the contents. - Additional Weep Holes
In addition to the side Fin Vents, we provide 4 weep holes at the bottom of the case, allowing condensation or water buildup to release easily. The bottom holes are positioned slightly in front of the backer board and then behind it, for maximum breathability. - Forbo™ Cork Backer
Offered in 15+ Colors, this corkboard is self-healing, will not crumble, and is constructed to hold up in most weather conditions. Forbo™ is produced from natural and renewable raw materials. A combination of oxidized linseed oil, rosin, and finely ground cork gives this bulletin board its flexibility and resilience. This combination results in a product with exceptional durability & a sustainable footprint. Its strength and resilience make it an ideal material for pinboards, notice boards, and all other surfaces where ideas and information are exchanged. - Hanging Brackets- for Wall Mount
When drilling holes through the backer board, there is an opportunity for water to seep into the backside of the case. As an option, we've included top and bottom metal hanging brackets to help avoid this. You still can drill through the backer board, but this provides an alternative mounting method.
IMPORTANT: Whichever way you decide to mount the case, remember to apply a clear silicone sealant around the perimeter of the backside of the case, and around any holes drilled directly into the metal cabinet.

**We provide a 3-wire cord attached to the ballast/transformer inside the display case. When installing, use a licensed electrician/installer to supply power to the display. The installer will best determine where to exit the hardwire (we do not provide an exit hole, as we feel it is best for the installer to decide the exit point for the power supply).
We offer TWO LED Lighting Options as detailed below;
TOP LIGHTING (ONE SIDE)
For this option, we install an LED strip on the top of the interior display case. The light will shine downward onto the interior case, illuminating the contents.
INSIDE PERIMETER (ALL 4 SIDES).
For this option, we place an LED strip light along the entire Perimeter of the interior display case. The light will shine from all 4 sides of the interior case, increasing the illumination of the contents on display.

An Extreme WeatherPlus™ Lighted Bulletin Board Display Case is a wall-mounted, weather-shielded enclosure designed to keep posters, menus, and other signage visible in exterior environments.
This aluminum-framed message center integrates energy-saving LED strips with a self-healing Forbo™ cork backing, providing a long-lasting alternative to standard outdoor boards. With a slim 3 1/8" ADA-compliant depth and built-in moisture management—including side vents and bottom weep holes—it offers a secure, lockable solution for high-traffic public spaces.
Enhanced Defense Against Harsh Weather
Standard display cases are often affected by humidity and rain. The Extreme WeatherPlus™ line is built specifically to address the challenges of outdoor placement:
- Moisture Control: We integrated Side Vents to prevent condensation from obscuring the view, and Cabinet Weep Holes that allow trapped humidity to drain naturally.
- Drip-Edge Protection: Each unit includes a thin aluminum roof overhang. This feature deflects rain away from the door seals, keeping moisture from seeping into the interior.
- Reinforced Sealing: Perimeter rubber gaskets line the inner door cavity to block wind-driven rain, while the aluminum back is reinforced with industrial silicone sealant.
- Impact Resistance: To prevent damage from vandalism or high winds, we use a clear, break-resistant acrylic window rather than standard glass.
Energy-Efficient LED Illumination
Don't let your messages disappear after sunset. These illuminated outdoor display boards feature UL-approved LED strip lighting rated for 50,000 hours of performance.
You can customize the lighting placement by selecting Top Lit to spotlight specific posters, or Full Perimeter Lighting for a uniform, bright glow across the entire board. These LEDs offer a sustainable, low-energy solution that remains brighter than traditional bulbs over time.

This product is warranted against all defects in material or workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of the original purchase. This warranty does not cover replacement due to customer misuse or abuse.
Products to be found defective in material or workmanship within this period of time will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer. The defective product, however, must be returned by the customer prepaid for examination and inspection. Once repaired or replaced, outbound shipping costs will be incurred and charged to the customer.
Limitations
Manufacturer is not responsible for repair or replacement of product(s) subjected to abuse, unintended use or impairs caused as a result of the following:
- Unauthorized repairs, accident, alteration, misuse, neglect, fire, and flood or product impair resulting from wide-ranging field wear and tear such as chips or tarnish over time.
- Altered, modified, misused, vandalized or improperly installed products.

Return & Exchange Policy
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange the item, please contact us within 30 DAYS of receipt of your purchase. Items must be returned in new, unused and resalable condition, and in its original box / packaging. This product is subject to a restocking fee if returned for any reasons other than damage. Upon proof of return shipping and inspection of the item a credit will be issued less a 30% restock fee and any outbound shipping costs incurred by Access Display Group Inc. You are responsible for arranging return shipment to our production facility. Any customized product or order exceeding $2,500 dollars is non-returnable.

This is the most economical delivery available. It means the driver will bring the product to the back of the truck. A raised dock is required so that a fork-lift or pallet jack can be used to off load the shipment. Someone from your facility will be responsible to bring the item(s) into your building, office or home.
COMMERCIAL Basic FREE Freight Delivery (Standard Service) ($0.00)
Only for a Commercial location which has a raised commercial loading dock, a 48" high loading dock, for receiving truck/freight trailers and has a pallet jack or fork lift for unloading the truck.
