Our Extreme WeatherPlus™ Add-ons are an upgrade from our standard cases we've sold for 30+ years. While we still sell our vast selection of styles and sizes without the enhancements below, some extreme locations require these upgrades to best accommodate their local weather challenges. Below are the upgrades we include;
- Drip-Edge Roof
The thin aluminum roof has a slight bend at the end to help prevent water from entering through any possible gaps at the door or hinges when closed. The roof provided comes with high-bond adhesive tape for installation on the top of the metal cabinet. When mounting and installing the WeatherPlus™ case, you can decide whether to add the protective roof. You can always install it later or remove it after the initial installation. - Rubber Gaskets
One of the bigger enhancements is the installed rubber gaskets placed on the inner perimeter of the door cavity. Though not waterproof or 100% water-tight, it greatly reduces the risk of water entering the case. - Side Vents
Fin-style vents are placed on both sides of the case. This allows the upper portion of the case to release any condensation buildup and provides airflow to help ensure a clear view of the contents inside. - Additional Weep Holes
In addition to the side Fin Vents, we also provide four weep holes at the bottom of the case, allowing any condensation or water build-up to release easily. The bottom holes are positioned slightly in front of the backer board and then behind it, for maximum breathability. - Forbo™ Cork Backer
Offered in 15+ Colors, this corkboard is self-healing, will not crumble, and is designed to withstand most weather conditions. Forbo is made from natural, renewable raw materials. A combination of oxidized linseed oil, rosin, and finely ground cork gives this bulletin board its flexibility and resilience. This combination results in a product with exceptional durability and a sustainable footprint. Its strength and resilience make it an ideal material for pin boards, notice boards, and all other surfaces where ideas and information are exchanged. - Hanging Brackets- for Wall Mount
When drilling holes through the backer board, water can seep into the back of the case. As an option, we've included top and bottom-hanging metal brackets to help prevent this. You still can drill through the backer board, but this provides an alternative mounting method.
IMPORTANT: Whichever way you decide to mount the case, remember to apply a clear silicone sealant around the perimeter of the case's back and around any holes drilled directly into the metal cabinet.

Extreme WeatherPlus™ Add-on Features
As outdoor conditions grow more severe, the need for durable and well-protected message board display cases increases. The Extreme WeatherPlus™ wall-mounted, enclosed display cases are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, ensuring reliability and longevity in outdoor settings.
- Drip-Edge Aluminum Roof is supplied with adhesive tape for direct installation on the top of the cabinet. The slight overhang pushes dripping water away from susceptible areas where it can enter the case. Once the bulletin board cabinet is mounted, you can choose whether to add the Roof during installation.
- FORBO™ Bulletin Board is a self-healing cork board constructed to withstand crumbling and reduce water absorption and color fading from direct sunlight. This is a much-improved option over traditional cork backing. Forbo comes in 15+ Colors, including popular tan.
- Side Vents will help reduce condensation buildup towards the top of the case.
- More Weep Holes were added to the bottom of the case to reduce and release humidity, condensation, and any water buildup that may have accumulated from trapped air.
- Rubber Gaskets were installed in the inner door cavity to create a seal and help prevent most water from entering through wind-driven rain.
- Secure Mounting Brackets are included to provide an alternative to drilling directly through the back of the Forbo board.

This product is warranted against all defects in material or workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of the original purchase. This warranty does not cover replacement due to customer misuse or abuse.
Products to be found defective in material or workmanship within this period of time will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer. The defective product, however, must be returned by the customer prepaid for examination and inspection. Once repaired or replaced, outbound shipping costs will be incurred and charged to the customer.
Limitations
Manufacturer is not responsible for repair or replacement of product(s) subjected to abuse, unintended use or impairs caused as a result of the following:
- Unauthorized repairs, accident, alteration, misuse, neglect, fire, and flood or product impair resulting from wide-ranging field wear and tear such as chips or tarnish over time.
- Altered, modified, misused, vandalized or improperly installed products.
Please email our customer service for a RMA # (return authorization number). No returns for warranty related issues will be accepted without such authorization.
Return & Exchange Policy
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange the item, please contact us within 30 DAYS of receipt of your purchase. Items must be returned in new, unused and resalable condition, and in its original box / packaging. This product is subject to a restocking fee if returned for any reasons other than damage. A credit will be issued upon proof of return shipping and inspection of the item less a 30% restock fee including any return shipping costs. All custom orders are non-returnable unless defective in material or workmanship. All Orders exceeding a subtotal of $2,500, or with any customizations, are deemed non-returnable.

We ship to most places throughout Canada, but please be aware that there is additional transit time when shipping your order. Standard Freight Delivery Lead Time

Most large non-Fedex/UPS-able products are shipped tailgate delivery.
This is the most economical delivery available. It means the driver will bring the product to the back of the truck. A raised dock is required so that a fork-lift or pallet jack can be used to off load the shipment. Someone from your facility will be responsible to bring the item(s) into your building, office or home.
COMMERCIAL Basic FREE Freight Delivery (Standard Service) ($0.00)
Only for a Commercial location which has a raised commercial loading dock, a 48" high loading dock, for receiving truck/freight trailers and has a pallet jack or fork lift for unloading the truck.
RESIDENTIAL Freight Delivery (Residential Lift-Gate Service) ($125.00)

Shipment will be moved by the carrier to just inside the nearest door or entrance without any steps. May not be suitable for large items or very fragile display cases. Carrier may still need some assistance.
Premium Freight Delivery (Inside Service to Exact Location)($450.00)
For locations without a 48" high loading dock. Two person delivery. Truck used for delivery will have a Lift-Gate used to lower the shipment to ground level. Shipment will be moved inside to a specific location. Please ensure that all doors and pathways are large enough for the product(s) ordered. Shipment will be unpacked and packing materials will be removed. Delivery by appointment.
